Edward Bartels, Owner of, among others, Elektrolite in Nijmegen, already had a great affinity with the traditional light bulb as a young boy. Inspirational, interesting and valuable were the words he used when talking about the light bulb. This attraction became even greater when, through his shop, Elektrolite, he came into frequent contact with incandescent lamps and later also with LED lamps.
It started as an idea to start a webshop in the field of lamps and light sources. An idea that was worth trying and that's how Gloeilampgoedkoop.nl was created. Gloeilampgoedkoop.nl has since grown into a successful webshop in lamps and light sources for customers from all over Europe.
1 year after the creation of Gloeilampgoedkoop.nl, the idea came up to translate the webshop and introduce it on the French and German market. This idea was also worked out and again became a success. Ampoulepascher.FR and Gluehbirnebillig.DE are now fully active and it is impossible to imagine the search engines without them.
At the end of 2014, it was noted that the Belgian market was also very interested in Gloeilampgoedkoop.nl's products. A Belgian version of the successful webshop was therefore not long in coming. Gloeilampgoedkoop.be was introduced at the beginning of 2015 and this webshop can also be seen as a great success.
Finally, in 2021 Lightbulbcheap.com was launched for the entire international market to serve all its needs in light bulbs.

The starting point of Lightbulbcheap is the vision that Edward Bartels has always kept in mind: "My passion is to create a suitable atmosphere in every room with beautiful, solid lamps." And that is what Lightbulbcheap does it all for. A more than satisfied customer with lamps to score high.
