Never load the transformer more than 80% of the maximum power! What is an electronic halogen transformer? Electronic halogen transformers for lighting convert the mains voltage of 220 Volts to the safe 12 Volts low voltage. This type of transformer is therefore intended exclusively for halogen lamps that operate at this low voltage.
